"This adventure is NOT Adventurers League legal. It is a one-shot game with no ongoing rewards other than the fun of playing it. Invasion from the Planet of Tarrasques is a single-session, over-the-top, gonzo action adventure meant for four to six level 20 characters. What’s more fun than one tarrasque? How about multiple tarrasques stomping across Waterdeep? How about a whole planet full of tarrasques ready to rumble? If that sounds exciting, then Invasion from the Planet of Tarrasques is for you.

Halaster Blackcloak, the Mad Mage of Undermountain, is tired of these #@!#$&!# adventurers in his #@!#$&!# dungeon. Clearly the only way to deal with these TRULY ANNOYING interruptions in his research is to level Waterdeep to a smoking ruin. Our heroes, the Defenders of Waterdeep, are the only thing standing between the trembling city and utter destruction.

Please note that this adventure has been substantially changed from it's original source material in order to more aptly fit within a 4-5hr time frame for online play and to provide an appropriate challenge for characters created in the current meta.

Character Creation:

Build a 20th level character with 27 point buy, standard HP, only using the PHB, Volo's Guide to Monsters, Mordenkainen's Tome of Foes, Xanathar's Guide to Everything, and Tasha's Cauldron of Everything.

Money - 5,000 gold pieces per character to spend on spell components. I will need a list of your purchases before the game starts.

Magic items - four uncommon or uncommon magic items, two rare items, one very rare item, and normal starting equipment. You may trade down, so +1 uncommon for -1 rare.

Potions and Scrolls: 5 common, 2 uncommon (no Philters of Love), 1 rare, and 1 very rare. You may trade down, so +1 uncommon for -1 rare.

Gameplay: You are required to build your characters on D&D Beyond. I have purchased everything on D&DB and will provide you with access to build a character under my account via the provided Baldman Games Discord channel as soon as possible. It is strongly suggested that the players communicate with each other to coordinate prior to the game. It is also strongly encouraged that you thoroughly understand what your character can do so we don't waste time at the table with you trying to figure it out. During play, there are no guaranteed ways to get a long rest, but one or two short rests are possible."

Once you purchase a ticket you will receive a link to the events Discord server (if you bought more then one ticket please share this link with your fellow players). Clink the link to join the sever, find your table # and DM, and get everything setup and ready to game till your weekend away. To help expedite the process make sure you have any accounts needed setup ahead of time based on the event you signed up for (Discord, Roll20, Fantasy Grounds, etc.). A Discord account with a registered email address is required regardless of platform.
