Preview Candlekeep Mysteries at March Virtual Play Weekend

Can't wait to delve into the forgotten tomes and forbidden secrets of Candlekeep? Candlekeep Mysteries is a collection of 17 stand-alone adventures releasing in game stores and online on March 16th, 2021, but you can get a taste of what's to come early! You'll have the opportunity to preview two of the adventures during D&D Virtual Play Weekend on March 12-14.

D&D Virtual Play Weekends is a monthly program that serves as a “mini-convention” for D&D tabletop play. Wizards has partnered with event organizer Baldman Games to offer regular opportunities to connect with D&D players from around the world, featuring all the latest D&D Adventurers League games as well as select DM-submitted D&D tabletop experiences.

Our preview adventures are the 1st-level adventure The Joy of Extradimensional Spaces by Michael Polkinghorn, and the 5th-level adventure The Price of Beauty by Mark Hulmes. Each adventure is playable in about four hours and will be offered multiple times over the course of the weekend.

Candlekeep Mysteries is playable as part of the Adventurers League Masters campaign, so players can join in on these adventure previews with an existing Masters campaign character, use a pregenerated character for the 5th-level adventure (provided at the event), or they can create a new 1st-level character using the creation guidelines in Appendix 3 of the DDAL Masters Player's Guide

Registration for the March Virtual Play Weekend goes live here at the Yawning Portal on March 2nd at 12pm EST (GMT -5), and the schedule will be available for preview tomorrow on the Baldman Games Twitter account. For more information on Virtual Play Weekends, head to the Wizards page.
