Dungeoncraft Adventures: The Wild Beyond the Witchlight

The D&D Adventurers League Dungeoncraft program provides community members with the ability to create content to be included in Adventurers League play. A writer may create only for the table(s) of their choosing, or they may publish their adventure to the DMs Guild and make it available to the larger Adventurers League community, for other Dungeon Masters and players to enjoy.

With the recent release of The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, writers in our community have two options for creating their content:

Option 1: Create Your Own Domain of Delight

Create your own adventures set in a fey domain of your own design using The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Domains of Delight, and the guidelines provided in the Dungeoncraft document. If you're creating more than one adventure this season, you may continue to use the same domain for some or all of those adventures.

Option 2: Create Adventures in Fablerise

Create your own adventures set in Fablerise, a small fey domain provided within the Dungeoncraft seasonal guide, using The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, Domains of Delight, and the adventure seeds and other guidelines provided in the Dungeoncraft document.

Each Dungeoncraft adventure published under these guidelines must use the WBW-DC code to identify it as a Dungeoncraft adventure created in conjunction with The Wild Beyond the Witchlight. An adventure may have  either one or two writers; these writers are the only individuals permitted to Dungeon Master the adventure before it is published to the DM's Guild.

WBW-DC adventures, if published, must appear for sale on the DM's Guild by August 31, 2022. Unpublished adventures may be run by their author(s) until December 31, 2022.

The Dungeoncraft rules in their entirety, including an adventure template, are hosted on the DMs Guild

If you'd like to see examples of Dungeoncraft adventures this season, the DMs Guild has a spotlight on a few creators that are part of a launch day program called Dungeoncraft Spotlight. Their Feywild adventures are ready for you to unleash on your party!

Aspiring authors can think out loud, dream up an archfey, and ask other community members for advice in the #al-dungeoncraft channel on the D&D Discord server. More specific questions about the program itself can be sent via email to Community@DnDAdventurersLeague.org
